I have been looking at the docs and the linux driver [1] (I have not found the u-boot one yet, though they talk about it in the beagleboard ml). This definitively looks like a much more feasible project for me. The only problem I see is that without a working kernel the driver cannot be tested, so I would have to write it, compile it, and wait until somebody else get Plan9 working on the IGEP. Am I right? I can write a proposal for this video driver, but if anybody has any other suggestion for any other driver (which is needed and doable by a novice) just let me know.
