But the point is that it doesnt work if one uses the second documented
method.

I shall switch back to the insinuate (method 1) again and play around.

Thanks for your patience.

I think the diary and appointment integration is a little bit confusing
- it is easy (for me) to lose just who is in charge of the information
(planner or diary/appointment calendar management).

But as I use it more, I'm sure some of the niggles will iron out and
hopefully my noobie eye will contribute something back in the near future.
