Hi, Planners,

The "parenthesis problem" with planner-multi comes back. I found this happens only with Emacs 21 (I am using 21.3.1 at home on a Fedora Core system). On my work machine with Emacs 22, this does not happen. For some reason I have to work with both Emacs 21 and 22 (i.e. It is not an option for me to upgrade all my systems to emacs 22)

FYI, here is an example of the problem:

If I input a task description like this when I create a task:
Test task (xyz)

I will get a task line like this, where "Home" and "xyz" are links to plan pages, and a new plan page "xyz.muse" is created. #B _ Test task {{Tasks:315}} (Home xyz)
Could anybody let me know if you can reproduce this problem? Thank you.

Hi, Planners,

With planner-create-task, if I have some text in parentheses "( )" in my task description when planner-multi is enabled, the text in the parentheses will become a plan page that the task is linked to. This is quite annoying since I often put some side note in parentheses in my task description. Is that a bug,
of there is some rationale behind this that I did not know? Thank you.

Can you give an example of a task that you try to create that produces this behavior?

What versions of planner and muse are you using?

Nothing special happens for me when I create tasks that have text in
parentheses.

I did a test again and to my pleasant surprise the problem is no longer there. These days I have been tinkering with my planner configuration file, which contains many advices. Maybe my own stuff caused this problem. Anyway, I am glad it is gone and I am no longer afraid of using parentheses.

Thanks.

Wanrong
