The only thing I have in there is the following: (custom-set-variables ;; custom-set-variables was added by Custom -- don't edit or cut/paste it! ;; Your init file should contain only one such instance. '(case-fold-search t) '(current-language-environment "Latin-1") '(default-input-method "latin-1-prefix") '(global-font-lock-mode t nil (font-lock)) ) (custom-set-faces ;; custom-set-faces was added by Custom -- don't edit or cut/paste it! ;; Your init file should contain only one such instance. ) And I don't think that will do it. The weird thing is that I have a feisty install with the latest version, one with the one that ships w/ Feisty, and a Dapper with the one that ships with Dapper. The only one it works in is the Dapper install. They all share the same .emacs. Makes me think there is something strange about the way Feisty installs Emacs. Or planner. or both. But I cannot seem to track it down. thanks again! Kevin -- In Vino Veritas http://astroturfgarden.com
