unfortunately for this case, "window group" already has a meaning on x11. probably best not to make things too confusing between APIs :) setWindowsToPreview is fine, and setWindowToPreview can just be a convenience method that uses setWindowsToPreview internally (with a list of count() 1) > aaah, the problem is that it seems kwin can just a single window preview > per window, unless i'm missing something :/ yes, the tooltip would need to create one preview widget per winId to preview. then kwin should fill in each of those widgets with their respective thumbnails. -- Aaron J.
