It's because the editor creates a backup copy of the file you are editing
and, since that backup isn't version controlled, git refuses to checkout or
revert to a previous state. Thanks for noticing ( since i turned backup off
:) !
I'll fix it as soon as possible by creating a .gitignore file :)
