to see if it "just works", can you try to just put some dobug output in connection.cpp around line 467 at the switch cases case SwitchEvent::State::Off: case SwitchEvent::State::On: and then see if that output comes up when you flip the lid? (you need libinput 1.9 for that) -- Marco Martin
