i use -Uhv always for multilib arch pkgs. try that. eg when poldek was broken i did upaa [1] as much poldek could do, and later rpmget [2] + rpmget --sn ac-athlon and rpm -Uhv fetched packages (both arch together), carefully looking as poldek tended to fetch more than needed when different archtree was forced. [1] $ type upaa upa upaa is a function upaa () { upa $1; poldek ${1:+--sn $1} --upgrade- } upa is a function upa () { poldek ${1:+--sn $1} --up || poldek ${1:+--sn $1} --upa } [2] $ type rpmget rpmget is aliased to `poldek --fetch=`pwd` --force -u --nodeps --nohold' -- glen _______________________________________________ pld-devel-en mailing list pld-devel-en@lists.pld-linux.org http://lists.pld-linux.org/mailman/listinfo/pld-devel-en
