Yeah. They said that a year ago!
They're finding that designing for SMP is more than just adding SMP to
the CPU. You also need an SMP chipset. That's the big obstacle, one
that they've been unable to overcome.
Besides, I wonder if AMD might be ignoring SMP on 32-bit processors and
looking at putting their efforts into their 64-bit offering. I know if
I were them and I heard the stories coming out of Intel regarding IA-64
I sure would.
