Well.... problem #1: Most of the original development team is gone. I
can't even really claim to be an original--I joined maybe 3 or 4 months in
as a crash-tester.
#2: People expect me to tell them what to do. Kevin had big problems with
this too. Find something that annoys you and fix it.
#3: People expect that they can't do any work on something that seems
broken--and stop trying
#4: People aren't willing to go through the long and dirty process of
collecting error messages and troubleshooting them.

I can't put all of my time into this project, but I'm going to be here to
the end--whatever that may be. I'm very annoyed that people think that
the CVS needs to be moved before they can start work--as that is bullshit.
I've been working off of 2 different CVS versions--it can be done. I've
put up some TODO's on savannah more than anything else in the hopes that
people will see the task lists and say "I can work on that," or "hey
something needs to be done about this, and it isn't on the list." At
least there has been traffic on this mailinglist--even if it has been
opinionated garbage and SPAM in some cases.

There is stuff to do. Chistophe could use some help streamlining the
plugin system. There has been talk about modding the device I/O for some
time here--since April last year. My ideas turned out not to be useful,
but Eric Laberge's basic plugin framework has caught on in both plex86 and
in bochs.

There are lots of odd error messages still not fixed, lots of emulation
bugs, and lots of speed issues to solve.

And, probably most importantly, the GUI seems to have some problems. If
it doesn't work for you then we need to figure out why. If it does, same
thing. I can't do all of this myself. Nobody can.

Please pick something about plex86 that you think that you can make
better, play with it, and send in a patch for everybody else to see.
