Hi Alan:  I've just checked an update to perl/x02.pl into SVN.  It depends 
upon PDL-Graphics-PLplot-0.40 which I just uploaded to CPAN.

I'll be working on updating/adding new examples over the next weeks--I 
expect it will take a while!  I'll update PDL-Graphics-PLplot as 
necessary.
