I am up and running again with a more powerful and much quieter power supply. I am extremely happy my principal computer was only out of action for a day rather than a week or longer. Next on my agenda is to propagate changes (made just before the release) in api.xml to bindings/swig-support/swig_documentation.i and the associated swig-generated help strings for Octave and Python PLplot function bindings.
