Hi again, Hazen: It turned out the required changes are straightforward, but the editing required has been pretty massive. So instead of just one day, I have been at this pretty hard for the last two days, and it will likely take me another day to finish. That is, I am currently on course to get this topic merged into master within 24 hours from now. This topic (getting pytkdemo to work perfectly on a slightly expanded subset of its original examples but now in xw??.py form [which is already done], moving to namespaced versions of all xw??.py examples (60 per cent done), deleting the xNN.py versions, and moving the xwNN.py versions to the xNN.py form) will be a very welcome improvement for this release. There is at least one more fairly large topic I would like to merge (and there might be other last-minute large changes others here would like to do). Therefore, I have decided to push the freeze date from December 3rd to at least December 8th, and there might be another adjustment of that date up to as late as December 10th if I or anybody else has some last-minute needs, but that would be the latest allowed freeze date because we do need at least a week of testing, and I really do want to stick with a release date of December 17th.
