I hope you can figure out a way to tune up your spam filters so PLplot
traffic is not interfered with.  The spam filter I use is
called [SpamBayes](http://spambayes.sourceforge.net), and it works
well for me.

In any case, I am glad you reviewed your spam folder and as a result we
are now back in e-mail contact again.

According to <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_XP>, XP was introduced in 
2001, Microsoft
quit fundamental support for it in 2014, and the percentage of Windows users who
are still using it has dropped to ~2 per cent as of a few months ago.  So yes, 
I am fine
with us dropping XP support as well.

@Jim: I am glad to hear you think this agenda is doable for you during
this release cycle (especially when not worrying about XP support).
