As long as you don't submit it as your homework and say you wrote it
as a homework assignment for your C.S. class, that'd be fine.

As long as you give credit to the authors of the pieces you use, you
would be within the "limit of the law" so-to-speak. Removing any copyright
notices (i.e. in the source code headers, etc.) is not allowed, so those
must remain.
