This C++ parser could be included in the viewer itself... (that's an old 
thread about online browsing). A stripped-down version of that C++ parser 
could do that... No need to keep it in synch with Python since it would be 
stripped down (no images, etc.).
Just an idea.

Another thing AvantGo has (apart from online browsing) is form submission 
(submit, handle the response, keep cookies, etc.).
