I agree, fixed width plus horizontal scroll bars would need to go together. This would be a nice feature.
How about generally improving fonts (or allowing use of other 3rd party
fonts)? I find the default italic font a bit hard to read.

Probably won't do you a whole lot of good unless they also add a
left->right
scroll bar option to avoid line wrapping! BTW, this is a request for such
a
feature but I'm not sure how it would be implemented...
