This is great Rob, now if anyone who has successfully built if for OSX could give a little shout out about any extra fine points, we may just get this built for him.
Jonathan, If you can get on AIM or IRC this weekend, I'll try to help you out. I've had success getting it built for Solaris and helped someone get it for Linux.
