Updates to the message below...

The .tar.gz file is intact, just the .zip seems hosed.

But I still don't see examples of config of GUI in example.jxl, nor in jpluckx.bat, and don't see any other obvious files to look in.

Hi,
Howdy!

I just released JPluck beta 3. This is the "final" beta 3 release. I added
two important new features in response to feedback: the option to include
image alt text and the option to exclude text colors. There are also some
fixes and enhancements regarding HTML parsing.
Okay... what was the previous version? It came across as Beta 3 and says "Version 1.0 Beta 3" in the About box... in both last week's file and this weeks. (The new one doesn't say "Beta 4") The installers are different sizes, but the only name change in the installer was the removal of "pr1".

Humbly suggest more versioning.

You can set the look-and-feel that JPluck X uses in the configuration file.
There is a comment with instructions in the configuration file itself.
Not in mine... and not in example.jxl. But I did have a pre-existing jpluck.jxl. Was it necessary to uninstall and delete before installing?

(Note to Fringe Ryder: if you set the look-and-feel to Windows then you can use
Shift-Ins to paste text from the clipboard.) The Windows LAF actually looks
pretty good. However, the component spacing and layout has been designed
with the default Kunststoff LAF in mind.
Love to, but couldn't find any documentation on how to do this.

Thanks to everyone who responded on the mailing lists and directly by
e-mail. Beta 4 will offer some really cool new features, so stay tuned.

After not getting the updated config files, I verified I appear to have a new build. The "build" directory has jpluck.jar and jpluckx.jar, both dated 02-Dec-02, so I figure I'm in good shape. So I grabbed the .zip from sourceforge, figuring I could extract the newest jxl's to see the config options. Got the file listing but all empty contents, even for readme.txt. Re-downloaded, same result. My guess is the .zip is corrupted.
