I was finally tempted to try out jpluck when I saw that it would have memory card syncing. I've tried it on my Handera 330 with a SD card and it still seems to sync to ram. Has anyone else tried this successfully? I'm wondering if perhaps on the Handera it would work if I had a CF card? I switched to SD a few months ago so that I could keep the CF slot free for things like wireless cards.

One thing that would make jpluck a very enticing package would be to allow setting up profiles which would specify certain documents go to different Palm users (my wife (has a Clie SL10) and I both read our news/comics on Plucker daily). We are still using the Python parser and it seems to work well but has some definite limitations. I tried the new Plucker Desktop a few revisions ago but it didn't quite have the flexibility I wanted.

Things I need to figure out before a full conversion to jpluck or plucker desktop:
- We need our comics. The comics phython scripts were great. I had to modify them a bit as the sites changed but it is great having all of my favorite comics without any extra html/noise. These scripts (slightly modified) actually also work quite well to get the daily bikini/Sunshine Girl. :-)
- Sync at specified times. We usually have our computer download all the content at ~6am and then when we sync before heading out the door, everything is already downloaded and converted.
- Sync to memory card. There are so many great palm apps available now that there never seems to be enough ram.
