I spend much of my working days surfing news sites on the web. Often I find articles that I want to read in the future. I print some of them, but I would prefer to move them to my Palm, so I could read them while on the train to and from work.

The possibility to update web pages a'la Avantgo are therfore not what's most important. What I need is a software that let me, with as few keystrokes as possible, save the text on my desktop screen to the Palm for later reading.

It's mostly information at web sites, but every now and then a mail or a word document might go to the Palm as well.

I could copy and paste into a Word document and then use Documents To Go, but this involves to many steps to be done on a regular basis. Using the memopad with it's 4k limit isn't good enough.

I would also prefer a solution which let's me categorise saved texts (if this could be done already at the desktop, when copying, it's great!) and also put them on my SD-card.

Does Plucker meet my needs?
