Karen - which hires version did you install? was it the 20030611 or the 20030522 version? I experienced problems with the 611 version (even after using the "cleaner"), so reported it here as a bug.. <http://bugs.plkr.org/bug_view_page.php?bug_id=666> Did you get a similar "double-clicking" sound?
