A fix for this issue was applied to the stable 1.4 branch, and has subsequently been included into the unstable branch where most of my code resides.
I just tested this on my TT and found the problem to be fixed. It should be included for 1.4beta2, as well anything later than 20030611-am (on my site).

I'm confused though. The FAQ on the HiRes site says that the hires version has been merged into the main trunk on the CVS site, but I have downloaded the current viewer snapshot (v1.4beta1) and it doesn't seem to know about hires or jogdials.
Also, where are the different branches located? Is the main CVS the stable 1.4 branch? Where is the unstable branch? Is there a binary anywhere with this fix in it?
