I would assume it can be handled, or perhaps there is a PDA-friendly version of the site somewhere?

That's because my.yahoo.com is not very clean. In fact, it is a disgrace. Try running this site through an HTML validator and you will see what I mean. I worked on a XSLT transform for this site for a while, trying to extract just the portions that interested me, but finally gave up.
