<sarcasm> Oh sure, there's never a list that uses non-standard headers or subject tags, or have certain people whom messages from don't always include the same headers or tags that are sent by other members. </sarcasm> Look at the headers for Tony's recent messages and _maybe_ you'll see that this list is far from consistent. I don't think it's a horrible thing when half a dozen people politely request for subject tags that are a mere SIX CHARACTERS in length. Obviously, however, I belong to the wrong list. I didn't know this one was 90% flame to 10% content. > "subject lines should follow the conventions of the group." It's a pity there's nothing consistent on this list. > "Refuse to filter messages?" I will be nice and not > comment on that ;-) Refuse to filter USING HEADERS for every list. Maybe Plucker is your life - and it is an awesome thing - but I belong to about three hundred lists. If I had to create a separate header filter rule for each one, instead of simple subject tag parsing it would take considerably more resources. Fortunately I don't. And I can delete the TWO rules I already created for filtering plucker messages because it simply isn't worth the time or energy to belong to this list. Regards, Shawn K.
