I like the support for "*.jpg to PDB" conversion type.
Is there any easy way how to achieve this with standard Plucker tools?
I mean, not creating HTML page with links to images etc.
(Although it may be the best solution in terms of the resulting PDB, nice link texts etc, sometimes I just want to "grab the JPG files from XYZ directory and go".)

The gallery tool was really meant as a utility to test multi-image support. I don't have the time to look if it's something on the JPluck end and I'm going to remove it from the distribution with the next release. Multi-image support for sites and feeds works well.
