Martin:
You could use:
plucker-build --doc-name=Foo --doc-file=Foo --maxwidth=1000
--maxheight=1000 foo.jpg
This will create a document with only the 1 picture, full size.
Plucker-build will not increase the size of the image.

The ability to watch M*A*S*H on demand justified purchasing a VCR for
