I've also reformatted it a bit to suit viewing on a Palm device. I'll go through each of the remaining bits and poke and prod some more. I should be done in another day or two.. stay tuned!
Ok, it is 99% complete now. Looks great in Plucker. I just have to go through the pages one last time and fix up the misquoting and other minor formatting errors, and I'm ready to ship it.
Right now, with 4bpp images + alternate images at a max width of 600px, it is 2,001,856 bytes in size.
I spent an entire day going through this monstrous .pdf file's HTML output, and cleaned up a LOT of the HTML, and reformatted the layout to make it easier to read/browse on a PDA. I've made a linkable TOC, as well as an index page for each sub-section at the top of each parent page (i.e. Page 5 has a mini-TOC for 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, and so on).
I also went through and split up the graphics so they were individual files, instead of a larger tiled series of signatures, hijacker photos, and so on. Much easier to read and browse on a smaller screen size.
There's quite a few other formatting changes in here (I removed all of the tables I could find, and replaced them with a "leaner" PDA-happy equivalent).
I just need to run it through a grammar checker now, to make sure I'm not introducing silly stupid errors along the way. This was a monster of an HTML project, and it required a heck-of-a-lot of hand-editing, after the HTML version of the PDF was exported.
