In the past few days, I've begun to see this behavior:
$ /ldatae/PilotBuilding/sitescooper/sitescooper-3.1.3/sitescooper.pl -plucker -refresh
Reading configuration from "/home/lwv28/.sitescooper/sitescooper.cf".
Using site choices from "/home/lwv28/.sitescooper/site_choices.txt".
Expiring cache files...
SITE START: now scooping site "/home/lwv28/.sitescooper/lwvwired.site".
Cannot open/create database: /home/lwv28/.sitescooper/cache/Wired_News/modtimes.db
$ ls -l /home/lwv28/.sitescooper/cache/Wired_News/modtimes.db
-rw-rw-rw-   1 lwv28    dept28    286720 Aug 20 14:31
/home/lwv28/.sitescooper/cache/Wired_News/modtimes.db

Anyone know why plucker would say that it cannot open or create this database when the
permissions show no problem?
