I would like to know if it's possible to make plucker add text to a URL. There are many websites out there that offer printable web pages.
Something like that it possible, not with Plucker as far as I know, but with JPluck, because it can transform pages using XSLT. Something just like that is done to get the New York Times print-friendly pages.
See http://jpluck.sourceforge.net/library/index.php but having said that, the format you quoted might be a bit harder, because all the above examples do, as far as I know, is add extra code to the end of a URL, not rewrite something in the middle of it.
