If only it were true. Who's in charge of that message? JPluck hasn't been succeeded by anything if you're not on Windows, and the rest is just an ad for Sunrise.

The author of JPluck decided to go his own way, and created his own proprietary version of JPluck, with some additions and fixes, and rebranded it as Sunrise. Due to his decision to use certain Java toolkits and hooks into the OS proper, it also only runs on Windows. It currently supports the Plucker document format, but when his Palm-side viewer (also proprietary, non-free) is complete, support for Plucker in Sunrise will be removed.

If that is what you wish to support, then by all means, do.

Many of us do not believe in those decisions, and have decided to continue JPluck as a separate, renamed and relicensed project called Opusculus. The movement on Opusculus has been stagnant for a few weeks (probably because of delays on my part), but there are a lot of good ideas, and contributors willing to help fix it and make it what it should have been.

Orphaning off your loyal userbase is never a good idea.
