I recently retired my Palm IIIxe and replaced it with a Tungsten C.

I was, and still am, a very happy user of plucker, in combination with
jpluck.

I'm noticing that I tend to prefer browsing articles in plucker, even
when I'm connected to the internet over 802.11b and have the option of
using the "Web" browser program that comes with the Tungsten C. This is
mostly because plucker does such a good job of reformatting pages for
viewing on a small display, while the "Web" program makes me scroll
left, right, up, down - it's a big pain.

This leads to the question: Has anyone tried to use jpluck or other form
of plucker "doc" format conversion tool as a sort of
clipping/preprocessing step in a sort of conversion proxy (maybe an
extension to squid that converts html/rss to pdbdoc on the fly) for an
online version of plucker?

Thanks for any info/leads you might have for me!
