Problem with PDB Files showing up

I am very new at this and so please forgive me if this is in the archive (I 
have looked but haven't found anything, yet, on topic).  I have a Palm M505 
with a 512 MB SD card.  I am running Plucker on the Flash and store the 
books on the card.

If I create the PDB file with the Plucker Desktop (by dragging and dropping 
/ updating channel), the ebooks show up perfectly.

If, however, I right click (and I can only do this with .html files, not 
.htm or .rtf/.txt files) and create a PDB file, transfer it over using Palm 
Install, those files are not viewed.  Can I manually edit the launcher.dat 
file and if so, how or is there another easy way to simply transfer PDB 
files to my SD card and have those PDB files seen by the Plucker viewer?
