Scheduled Updates

I'm using JPluck (2.1.6b), and last night I put it into Startup Items 
and set all my channels to update at 9 AM, but although it started 
up, the channels aren't updated.

They say they're due at 9AM today, but nothing happened.
The JXL which contains those channels is listed under AutoUpdate -- 
what am I missing?
