I don't know, but in general I've had no luck getting
Plucker to update at night.

In my case I'm using an IBM Thinkpad which apparently
suspends itself to some degree after some period of
time. I am using the Windows "at" command (similar to
Unix's crontab), but apparently it doesn't fire.

I have read of similar issues involving an unrelated
application, SageTV, which (in this context) performs
scheduled recordings of TV programs. Someone has
written some add-on software for SageTV which using
the Windows power management API, and successfully
wakes SageTV (and Windows) from a state of complete
suspension on a timed basis. See:

It has occurred to me to try to incorporate the same
functionality into Plucker Desktop, but I don't know
where to begin in terms of the Plucker source code.
Perhaps I should start by writing an external
application which invokes Plucker Desktop.

Does anyone out there have direct experience with this
API?

BTW, I'm using the default Python-based Plucker
parser.
