Can't seem to install the viewer software to my Tungsten E.
Installed plucker desktop (minimal configuration, i.e. no multilanguage support) from plucker_desktop_setup_1.6.2.0.exe under Win2K Pro SP4 with 1/2 GB RAM, HD 10 GB free.
Running Palm Desktop 4.1.2 Hotsync 4.0.0 on the PC, System 5.2.1 Hotsync 5.0P on the Tungsten E
Plucker desktop appears to work, insofar as it retrieves & processes a channel.
In Plucker Desktop, clicked on Options / Install handheld viewer software, specified hi res palm with 256 colors or thousands of colors (doesn't seem to matter), with viewer & zlib decompress, with or without plucker user's manual (also doesn't seem to matter). Tried RAM or SD card as handheld destination, and plucker desktop tells me the viewer will be installed, but it isn't. Ever.
Hotsync _did_ install the data from the channel. And I've installed other software on this thing with no problem (e.g. QED, Adobe Reader, Documents to Go), and it reports 18.9 MB free RAM and 119.8 MB free on the SD card. What now?
