Hmmm, in view of LK's answer, I do not understand...
it seems like, the filtering would affect all
users of (incoming) gmail - which includes me.
I user gmail, but the thread with the "OT: I've been burgled" subject,
was handled sorta normally for me.
I wonder if there might be more to this...  hmmm...
