CORRECTHOME=is your maildir
try this as .procmailrc USERHOME=CORRECTHOME and then check the logs

USERHOME=/home/matthewmpp/.mail
MAILDIR=$USERHOME/maildir/

LOGFILE=$USERHOME/procmail.log
VERBOSE=on

Mail/
