Hi.
I tried installing LinuxMandrake v7.0 using the txt_boot.img and the installation went on smoothly but when I was about to log in as ROOT, the password that I entered previously was not accepted. I tried installing it twice and the same problem occured. If I am to install it by utilizing its autoboot feature, I am able to log on as root.
Is there a way for me to log on w/o knowing the root password? (sort of a backdoor or something) You see the PC that I am using does not support the CDROM,C,A bootup sequence that is why I am stucked with the txt_boot.img option.
