Pitch for FREEBSD:

For people with large database requirements (2GB or more in
1 file) It's time to use FREEBSD. If you use linux, in a
little time you'll learn BSD enough to operate MySQL or
Postgres. Apache is the same too. Netscape is the same. KDE
is the same.

Total ease of admin is still easier in Linux.

I don't see IP Masquerading. It uses NAT.

No Midnight Commander! Boohoo! No Linuxconf!

No DOSEMU here either. So if you still have a lot of DOS
apps running around, stick with Linux. I've been using it
for two years in production environment. 6 to 8 DOS sessions
all at once in one server! (use caldera's DR-DOS 7.03 image)

But you can use WEBMIN.

I think the 2gig file size limit is the only important
thing. And web serving, unless your Yahoo! or some US
server. The bandwidth here in Pinas is tiny so you won't
overload Linux anyway.
