THE LOGIC:
First of all, I'm an engineer.
I don't believe I am an extremist.
I believe in using the right tools for the job.
As admins, our platforms are the OS, the real tools are the
applications. These are here to serve the users so that
these people can allow the company to make money to stock
holders will get a profit from their investments.
If you require Pagemaker, Coreldraw for DTP, WinFax,
Scanners, you'd have to go windows (or mac).
If windows is the only OS you know, then you should use
windows. If you have lots of time, use windows.
For all in one servers, Linux just cannot be beat. One
install and it's all conveniently there. No license fees.
OfficeSuite apps is complete so now you have a choice.
In the next e-mails. I'll explain how it's done.
