first option jijo:

    buy two internal modem and assign what available irq and i/o ports to
avoid conflicts and give way either serial 1 or serial 2 for your UPS
connection.

second option:

    buy a multi serial port card like comtrol rocketport or digiboard which
it has a available driver for linux.
