Hi,
One of our remote linux boxes will be added with a
cpu. Do i need to recompile linux for this or is there
a module to install support for multiple CPUs? If
recompilation is the way to go, where do I find the
current active config of linux so in case I recompile,
I just need to add support for dual CPU and maintain
the existing config.
I am particularly cautious as the server is at a
remote end so I dont have console access in case
things mess up.
Thanks for any tips/hints.
