yes but most (myself included) think that as long as the topic/body
contains the word "linux" then its on-topic to post/reply in the plug
mailing list.

   how about we do it this way..

   jobs/internships/contractual opporturtunities => post in LinuxJobs
   newbie questions/ questions from a new user / questions of a user
who did not bother doing a quick search in google => post in
plug-newbies
   highly technical questions related to linux (or relatively if its
about OSS) -> post in plug
   flame => private message or /dev/null[1]
   others[2] => post in plug-misc

   but we can always hope that "self-control" (as zak puts it) catches on. :)

[1] i am offering the use of [EMAIL PROTECTED] for this. all
received mails are labeled as trash anyway.
[2] others include "i love <name-of-geek/geekette>", news clippings
(linux and otherwise, both local and international), request for
supplier information, happenings in the real world, PLUG board
lambasting (if any), other OS support, etc.

ciao!
