Title: RE: [plug] Linux fails to convince RP enterprise firms, says IDC

What I'm really curious about is why De La Salle University uses Windows for their web server. Check out http://uptime.netcraft.com and enter www.dlsu.edu.ph. I can't begin to understand why an organisation such as DLSU who can obviously support open source software migrate their systems to Windows. Also, weren't DLSU academics and staff one of the founding members of PLUG? Linux is being backed up by many academic institutions worldwide more than businesses, and still it's not convincing DLSU. This gives you a pretty good idea how Linux stands with Philippine enterprise firms.
