Well, if I ran apps under OS X, they wouldn't be Ubuntu apps. :) Mac OS X has X11 support, but you need to install it. Plus, I think cocoa apps are more responsive in OS X than X clients. For some reason though, Linux does seem more responsive than OS X on the iBook. Maybe I'm just biased, but there have been documented comparisons of OS X and Linux on the same box that show that Linux outperforms OS X. -- ___ Eric Pareja (xenos AT upm.edu.ph) | Information Management Service [IMS] \e/ Network and Systems Administrator | University of the Philippines Manila _v_ [ http://www.upm.edu.ph/~xenos ][GPG: B82E42D9][http://tinyurl.com/68dkm] "Ang hindi marunong magmahal ng sariling wika ay higit pa sa malansang isda." _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
