Can you fillup more info. Because if dansguardian and squid is a fresh install, then the inital browsing will be very slow but when the cache is build up then speed now increases.

Any solution? the machine has 1GB RAM and P4 2.6Ghz, with much of the RAM is allocated for caching but it ooks like squid isn't happy after all.
