referring to your statement about "the last time i checked" about the
advancements of the BSD kernel :P





The top 1 and 2 are run by the DOE and the DoD respectively of the US
government. If that's not for technical purposes, then I don't know
what is. And it certainly is NOT commercial purposes.


Oh, I was dealing with the "machines" not the IBM's clients :)

are you sure that DoD and DOE are ALL running linux?  I just seen
@sandia.gov emails at some of BSD mailing lists. And guess what?
they're quite active.

and why do you think DARPA funded OpenBSD before till Theo said
something about the US government?
