Get a bigger harddrive then.  Its no excuse. :P

Or install Emacs without X11.  Its still somewhat bigger than vim, at
~20MB, but then again if you're using vim in the first place you don't
need the additional libraries (which probably makes up the 150+ MB of
the above value.)
