Hi all, I have a friend whose ext4 partition was trashed upon unclean shutdown (fsck.ext4 was the trasher). That was the / partition, so he's reinstalling right now. But here, I'm just interested to know if anyone else already got hit with this. I've read somewhere (IIRC this was during the pre-Intrepid or pre-Jaunty release) that this occurring will be so so small, but the ext4 dev didn't dismiss the possibility that it will occur.
